Dr. David Moskowitz, Assistant professor of Communication, researches risk-taking behaviors among men
who have sex with men and the creation of technology-based interventions to curtail such behaviors.
He additionally is interested in the role of social identity and subgroup affiliation in predicting
differences in sexual health. He specializes in correlates of active condom eschewal and continues to
contribute to the literature concerning HIV disclosure and other forms of communication regarding HIV
serostatus and STD infection.
Dr. Moskowitz is an active supporter of the Sex-Positive movement and continues to support education,
research, and counseling that advocate sexual expressiveness (regardless of HIV serostatus) as healthy, natural and good.
